#366. January 22nd, 2014: Ian Tang

Before I start this post, I want to say how wonderful it is to be back. I’ve spent exactly 2 months processing the 365 day journey I went on, and I know that I’m ready to continue. Not necessarily at a daily pace, but I will continue to express my deep gratitude to those in my life. With that, it’s time to thank Ian 🙂

Ian Tang is hands down one of the most sincere, genuinely jazzed about life people that I’ve met. He has such bright eyes that shine with excitement and it’s so contagious. Meeting him at CI was such a fantastic encounter (props to Kyle), and thank goodness that it happened! Ever since Ian has been such a crucial person in my life, both as a friend and as a TEDx team member. Never will you meet someone so dedicated and willing to be passionate about something bigger than themselves. He has such a magnificent smile on his face ALL of the time, and of course right above that smile is his Google Glass 🙂 Ian is someone who you just want to be around. He has this energy about him that makes him so much fun, exhilarating, and comfortable. I feel so relaxed around him, and so at ease. He brings a certain mixture of radiance and calmness to a room, and I love it! Ian is seriously just such a fantastic human being. Ian, thank you so much for being in my life and for reminding me to appreciate the little things when crap gets in the way. Thank you for being so innocently bewildered by the opportunities of life, and thank you for being so mature with your decisions and life at the same time. Thank you for bringing such a positive attitude into each and every day, and thank you so much for always being there to make me laugh 🙂 You’re a gem. Thank you so much Ian for just being you. You’re such a special guy and we’re all lucky to have you in our lives 🙂 Thank you for being so spectacular 🙂
