#301. September 19th, 2013: Peter Alexander

Growing up, Peter was my best friend and partner in crime. I remember moving onto the block for the first time and seeing him outside playing basketball. Within a week, we were best friends, teammates, brothers, spies, tree climbers, etc. We did everything together. Peter was always by side and we had so many hilarious memories together. Peter is someone you know you can have fun with. He’s always up for an adventure and to try something new and that is something that I not only appreciate incredibly much, but it’s also part of the reason why I am who I am today. Peter always challenged me to try a little harder and to push myself, and for that I am so thankful. Peter is also someone you could always talk to and trust. Whether it was a late night conversation in a tent in the backyard while listening to “Grace,” or anytime at all while growing up right across the street from him, Peter was always there. I can’t explain the amount of moments and great times we’ve shared together because that would literally make a novel of its own. Peter, thank you so much for having such a huge impact on who I am today and my development as a kid. Thank you for always being up for a game of bball, learning new tricks, a game on the old trampoline, or anything at all. Thank you so much for always making me laugh and for growing up to be such a rockstar. Thank you for all the lemonade stands we did together and crazy treehouse ideas and projects 🙂 Thank you so much for all the times you’ve supported me and given me opportunities to grow stronger. Thank you so much for being in my life and for being the true man that you are 🙂
