#295. September 13th, 2013: Alex O’Halloran

I still remember the first time I met Alex last fall. I sat down with her and Jorge and I can still picture how enthusiastic she was and how excited she was to be a part of a group like the Colonial Cabinet. Well, today she’s just as excited about life and she is such an amazing young woman πŸ™‚ Alex is also one of the strongest and most resilient people that I know. She has been through so much and yet she always has her head held high and she always can manage to laugh about situations. Alex has such a hilarious sense of humor and one of the best things ever is when you get her laughing really hard πŸ™‚ I think what I admire most about Alex is her caring nature and how she really truly does care so much for all of her friends and those in her life. She’s very loving and isn’t afraid to surprise you with something she found on pinterest that reminds her of you πŸ™‚ Alex is such a funny, compassionate, thoughtful young woman and I’m honestly so glad that I was able to have spent such a fantastic summer with her. She was incredible with the freshmen and really gave it her all, even when she wasn’t feeling her best. Alex is always looking to do better and she’s truly a great leader. Alex, thank you so much for having a tough skin when you’ve needed it and thank you for opening up to me. Thank you so much for all the funny times when you’ve done my noises πŸ™‚ and thank you for just always having such a spectacular smile on your face. Thank you for always being so supportive and for being so courageous. Thank you for being as open as you were with everyone and for allowing all of us to help you grow. Thank you for having such a cute dog and thank you for just being a great friend and human being. Thank you for being you, Alex πŸ™‚
