#242. July 22nd, 2013: ROGERS

A man was sitting at Starbucks and had a military uniform outfit on, so I decided to thank him for his service. His jacket said “ROGERS” above his heart. I went over to him and said “thank you so much for your service!” He stood up and shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and said “you’re so very welcome.” His eyes just looked at me with such a sense of pride in what he was doing and I just loved that. I am truly so thankful for the men and women serving our country now, those that have served in the past, and those that are training now to serve in the future. This post goes to all of them and I will never stop being appreciative of their valiant effort and commitment to this country. Thank you SO much to all of them for being so brave and dedicated and allowing me to live the life I want to while feeling safe and secure. One holiday is nowhere near enough for you all. Thank you so much again and thank you to Mr. Rogers specifically as well. Thank you all again so much!
