#216. June 26th, 2013: Ari Massefski

As a GW student, I have had the unbelievable privilege of meeting some ridiculously amazing people and fellow classmates. One in particular, however, stands out among the crowd because of his unmatched work ethic, his modesty, and his unwavering kindness. Ari is seriously one of the most genuine and caring people I have met at this university. His smile is the first thing you notice about him and it immediately makes you feel happy and comfortable. The next thing you notice is that he listens. He doesn’t just hear what you have to say; he truly listens and it makes you feel like you’re the only one in the room. Ari is also someone who does some fantastic things in life and is rarely recognized for them the way he should be. To say he’s humble and down to earth would be an absurd understatement as he is always giving compliments and credit to others. He is always making people happy and feel loved and for that I appreciate him so much πŸ™‚ He goes out of his way to help you with anything you need and he is someone who I know will go so very far in life it’s crazy πŸ™‚ Even today he organized a bunch of students to go to the White House for a briefing and he was so helpful and stayed to help when things got messy at the front gate. He’s the captain who would go down with the ship, and he’s the friend who never leave anyone behind. He’s a freakin’ rockstar and I’m so honored to know him. Ari, thank you so much for being the phenomenal man and friend that you are and thank you so much for just being the wonderful human being that you are πŸ™‚ Thank you for all of the long talks and the times that you’ve listened to me squeal over ridiculous things. Thank you so much for all of the support with my endeavors here at GW and thank you so much for being the type of student leader this campus needs. Thank you for being the most honest and respectable man at GW and thank you for just living the beautiful life that you live πŸ™‚ Thank you for everything πŸ˜€
