#175. May 16th, 2013: Brian Thene

You can’t go wrong with a name like Brian šŸ™‚ And especially if your last name is Thene, and that’s because Brian Thene is one of the most remarkable and stellar men that I know. Brian is a gentleman. He’s a confident, intelligent, and wonderful individual and I am so happy to know him. Brian and I were best friends for so many years. He and I played tons of sports together, hiked the canyon together, and just generally spent time together. I remember an awesome pool party at Brian’s Mom’s house once, and the batting cage there too! I remember playing soccer together and just knowing that Brian would either score or put a phenomenal ball into the box. It’s hard to explain, but Brian is just someone who I genuinely trust and admire. He is such a quality guy who is a role model to so many, including myself. He is unbelievably respectful to everyone and he has such a spectacular outlook on life. Also, Brian, I am being so serious when I say that tonight’s conversation with you was the highlight of my week. I still have a smile on my face right now and I called my Mom right after to tell her about it šŸ™‚ Anyway, Brian, you really are a fantastic person. I love how we can just pick up the phone and chat after years of separation. I am so happy to have you in my life and I’m even more happy to hear that you’re doing well šŸ™‚ Thank you so much Brian for being my friend all these years. Thank you for always being so understanding and supportive and so mature. Thank you so much for always being able to be a goofball with me and for all of the incredible memories šŸ™‚ I remember countless times laughing so hard with you and just smiling all the time. Seriously though, like tons of memories like that šŸ™‚ Thank you so much for always keeping your head up in life and for always pushing me to be better. Thank you for being the amazing man that you are and thank you again for just being in my life šŸ™‚
