#166. May 7th, 2013: Maurice Klatch

Most call him Mo, but I will always call him Maurice 🙂 Maurice is someone I have known for years and I am so pleased and thankful that I can still just pick up the phone and catch up with him, even though we’re thousands of miles away. Maurice is an inspiration to so many people for so many reasons. For me, Maurice has played a crucial role in showing me how you can be strong, independent, and courageous with everything you do. Maurice is incredibly kind and always willing to help someone, no matter what he is or has gone through. He does everything with tremendous effort and he always tries to do better. Have you ever seen this guy play music before? Well you should 🙂 Maurice is one of the most phenomenal musicians I have ever seen, especially for his age, and I am so happy to have him and his talent in my life. He is unbelievably dedicated and driven to making his own music and to just being a better person at the same time. Maurice is basically a huge rockstar, in the music sense, but also in the human being sense. He’s a genuine and compassionate friend and I am just so happy to know him 🙂 Maurice, thank you so much for being in my life and for developing into the fantastic and well-rounded man that you are today. Thank you so much for always making me laugh when I needed it and thank you so much for al of the wonderful memories over the years, from playing at Daniel’s house to playing soccer together literally over a decade ago. Thank you so much for being the honest and ambitious individual that you are. For all of that, Maurice, I thank you 🙂
