#109. March 11th, 2013: Kaitlyn Wills

This evening our NOLA group had a panel discussion for/with TFA. It had a few people on it, one of them being Kaitlyn Wills who actually graduated from GW! Throughout the entire discussion she was honestly just so open and raw and real with us and I am so thankful for that. She really gave us all such a phenomenal perspective on TFA and on being a teacher on general. She had such touching words I’m regard to how the gun violence here is and she just overall inspired me and was so truthful about everything she said. Kaitlyn, thank you so much for explaining all that you did tonight and thank you so much for sharing such personal stories with us. Thank you so much for giving a clearer perspective on teaching and on being in a job that is way too under-appreciated. You are an absolute rockstar and please keep being the incredible human being that you are. You’re changing lives daily and you changed mine today in about 45 minutes 🙂
