#99. March 1st, 2013: Charlie Gange

Charlie Gange is the definition of a phenomenal man. He’s genuine, absolutely hilarious, sensitive, kind, talented, understanding, and a million more adjectives. Seriously though, Charlie is one of the most all-around phenomenal men I have ever met. I’ve known Charlie for over a decade now (crazy to say that!) and not once has he failed to be a fantastic friend and not once has anything bad been said from his mouth. Ask anyone in the world and they’ll tell you that Charlie is the most spirited, smiley, energetic, and enthusiastic people they know. It’s because he is. As I told him today, one of my absolute favorite memories with Charlie was during the summer before our freshman year of college. Charlie, Sean, Caileigh, and I would hang out almost every night during that last month and we’d do so from the hours of midnight till about 4 am. Each time we would just catch up, tell stories, reminisce over memories and ridiculous moments, eat nutella from the jar, and watch movies after movies. It was honestly such a beautiful moment in my life because I love all three of them so much. Charlie, however, was always the guy to bring the humor. He makes things fun. He makes thing lively. He’s a guy that you want to be around and he’s someone you feel comfortable around. He is never afraid to act like a good, but he’s also not afraid to get on a stage and absolute rock out with his insane musical talent. Another one of my favorite nights was during some break when I went over to his house and we just talked about how things were going at college. I just remember sitting there on the carpet smiling because I was sincerely happy 🙂 Charlie is honestly one of the greatest guys I’ve ever met. He’s someone who you can call and catch up with instantly, even if you went to different high schools. He’s got an awesome family to back him up and I love the relationship he has with his dad. It’s inspiring. Anyway, Charlie, thank you so much for being the superb man that you are 🙂 Thank you for being my friend and for listening to me all those nights during the summer and for dealing with my milk drinking insanity 🙂 Thank you so much for being someone I trust and someone I believe in. Thank you so much for being a role model in my life, as well as many others. Thank you so much for kicking ass in Spring Awakening and for being an all-around great musician and actor! Thank you so much for making my childhood awesome and thank you so much for giving me so many times to look back on with a smile 🙂 For all of that, Charlie, I thank you 🙂
