#96. February 26th, 2013: Ketty Blum

A few days ago I woke up to a message from the dear and beautiful Ketty Blum. I honestly started to tear up from her kindness and from just how wonderful she is. Ketty is seriously a phenomenal human being. In high school, she was always one of the few people who were unconditionally friendly, warm, and compassionate. It didn’t matter who you were or what your friend group was – Ketty would always have a smile for you and was always willing to chat. Ketty is someone that I haven’t talked to in years, and yet talking with her on the phone today was spectacular in that it felt like I was just catching up with an old friend. It was easy. She makes you feel comfortable and loved and appreciated and I can’t explain how much I appreciate that. She isn’t someone who I hung out with all the time in high school, and yet she is someone who understands me and is someone who I would trust with anything. She’s reliable, beautiful inside and out, trustworthy, and a genuine friend and individual all around. Ketty, you seriously are fantastic and you deserve to hear that every single day. Thank you so so so so so much for what you said the other day Ketty 🙂 Thank you so much for being such a shining star and for living the incredible and selfless life that you lead. Thank you so much for just being one of those people that makes you smile 🙂 Thank you for being one of those just awesome and quality individuals who truly plays a consistent impact in my life 🙂 Thank you for being you 🙂 For all of that, Ketty, I thank you 🙂
