#93. February 23rd, 2013: Those construction workers :)

When we built the Before I Die Wall here at GW, we had a bit of an issue. On the far left side, right where the big “Before I Die…” is written, the construction workers had fastened the fence to the Wall a little too far over. Basically, we had to paint around the fence and it looked a little awkward, but not too bad πŸ™‚ Well, anyway, this past week, the construction workers had to move the fence a little for their work, and as a result it stripped a bunch of paint off of our wall and showed the part that was painted where the fence used to be. It didn’t look too bad still so we left it. Well, today when I went out to wash the Wall, I was astounded to see that it had been completely painted where the bald spots were and it looked fantastic once again πŸ™‚ The contraction workers had taken their own time and painted it for us when they moved it and saw that it messed things up a bit. I find it so interesting because they were there for the full week that we put it together, and I’ve seen some of them observe the writing on the Wall, so maybe they felt like they had to keep in tact for our community πŸ™‚ Either way, thank you so much to the construction workers over on the Gelman entrance πŸ™‚ You even added a new beam where it was needed! Thank you so much πŸ˜€
