#75. February 5th, 2013: My Grandma

Everyone always says that they have the best Grandma, but I’m serious when I say that I really do have the best Grandma πŸ™‚ My Grandma is one of the most devoted, caring, fascinating, and witty women I have ever met. If you’re looking for a story that will blow your mind, you go to her. If you’re looking for a warm hug and a sincere compliment, you go to her. If you’re looking to watch a movie that isn’t out in theaters yet, you go to her πŸ™‚ My Grandma is honestly one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of having in my life, and I am so proud every day to have her in my life πŸ™‚ She has dedicated her life to following her dreams and making the world happy and brighter in the process. When she was younger, she was an incredible ballet dancer that traveled everywhere to perform! Now, she is the world’s most compassionate human being and she is someone who is always there for you when you need her. She makes the absolute best Christmas Day breakfast EVER, as well as the best green beans you’ll ever have. Her home has the most wonderful feeling when you walk in. You smell the love in the air (as well as whatever is cooking), you feel the warmth of her personality, and you see the most amazing paintings, creations, and artwork on the walls and around her house. Grandma, you really are such a phenomenal person πŸ™‚ Thank you so very much for being the most supportive grandmother ever. As I told you tonight, I am so unbelievably appreciative of how supportive you were when I came out to you, Grandpa, and Kelly on Mother’s Day a few years ago. I remember that evening like it was yesterday and what stands out the most is the hug you gave me and the most passionate and loving “I love you so much, Brian” I have ever heard. Thank you so much for giving me the courage to be who I am and for giving me your love and care for as long as I’ve been alive. Thank you so much for giving me some of my favorite memories of my life. Whether it’s watching Little Miss Sunshine on the mini DVD player Christmas Eve night, or riding my new green scooter in the street, you have made my life so rich with experiences and joy that I will never forget it and I will always love you for it πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for being so dedicated to our family and thank you so much for making so happy and proud to call you my Grandma. I love you so so so so so very much and ALWAYS, always will! πŸ˜€ For all of that, Grandma, I thank you πŸ™‚

  1. Brian, as I said last night, YOU are the most remarkable young man I have ever known and I only hope that I will still be here in a few more years to see who and what you have become. You are an amazing person and the world is so much better with you in it. I love you so very much!!
