#69. January 30th, 2013: Ms. Duncan

Ms. Duncan is one of the most approachable, humble, and smiley teachers at Canyon Crest Academy šŸ™‚ She’s one of those people who you know is absolutely wonderful the second you meet her and she is someone who can make you smile and laugh at just about anything. One of my favorite things about her is that she is a teacher, and yet she is also a mentor and such an unbelievable human being in general. She is able to balance the job as a teacher with a caring adult who actually believes in you. She is also one of the most devoted teachers I have ever had in that she takes her passion for inspiring and helping outside of the classroom as well. For two years now, Ms. Duncan has played a leading role in organizing TEDxYouth@SanDiego and she is incredible at it. She is absolutely fierce, is unmatched with her patience and competence, and she has this ability to talk imaginatively while getting things done. She is a fantastic role model for everyone at CCA and I am so lucky to have worked with her on that event šŸ™‚ Ms. Duncan, you really are such a joy to have in life! Thank you so much for bringing your enthusiasm and spirit to CCA and for putting together one of the most amazing events I have ever seen. Thank you so much for being so supportive of me and my endeavors and for actually believing in me as I move forward. Thank you so much for always having a smile on your face and for turning any negative situations into positive ones. Thank you so much for being the phenomenal person that you are. For all of that, Ms. Duncan, I thank you šŸ™‚
