#35. December 27th, 2012: Madison Rhodes

So there’s this young woman that I know and she’s quite extraordinary. She’s got a wonderful smile that makes you feel warm inside and a personality that exudes brilliance and beauty. She’s part of a fantastic family that works to make the world a better place, and she’s just an all around rockstar. Her name? Ms. Madison Rhodes. 🙂 When I first met Madison through TEDxYouth@SanDiego, I knew I was in the presence of someone very, very special. Madison has the ability to captivate a room and she has this sense of courage and modesty that blends into this overall incredible human being that she is. She is one of the sweetest girls that I have ever met and most definitely feels like a sister to me. She is also unbelievably hardworking and when she starts something, she finishes it with quality. Madison is incredibly mature for her age, and yet she still leads her life everyday with a youthful spirit. She is completely able to find the beautiful and little things in life, and when she does, she shows other people in order to make them happy. When I think of Madison, I think of the word “share.” Madison is all about sharing. She shares any opportunity she gets with those around her. She shares her home and comfort with all of her friends. Quick note on that: The Rhodes’ house is one of the most “homey” environments I have ever been in. They welcome you with open arms, plentyyyy of food, and smiles on their faces. 🙂 Anyway, Madison, you really are quite a gem! You’re such an incredible person that I am honored to know and have in my life. As I told you today, I can’t really fathom what it’d be like without you in it!! Thank you so very much for being who you are. Thank you for being a shining star wherever you go and with whatever you do in life. Thank you for being so kind and compassionate to me and everyone that you know. Thank you for being a role model to so many people including myself. Seriously though; you really are. Thank you for being so beautiful, inside and out. Thank you for being yet another amazing member of that family of yours 🙂 Thank you for being in my life! For alllll of that, Madison, I thank you 🙂
