#29. December 21st, 2012: Lindsay Mitgang

Lindsay is a sister to me. I have know this wonderful child since the day she was born and ever since then we have spent countless vacations together, dinners together, birthdays together, holidays together, and even baths together. Lindsay is part of the family, just as I am in her crazy kooky family πŸ™‚ Her family, which is an entirely different story, are some of the best people that I know. But I’ll save them for a later day πŸ™‚ Anyway, Lindsay can best be described as a spunky, intelligent, energetic goofball who loves to enjoy life. Lindsay has a phenomenal sense of humor (There ONCE, was a rat…), and absolutely fantastic hair. No seriously, her hair is something to look forward to everyday. It’s great πŸ™‚ Lindsay is also a dedicated and incredibly loving friend. Never have I met someone so devoted to keeping in touch with her friends, a trait that not many people are good at pursuing (including myself) once they enter college. Lindsay makes a constant effort to listen and learn about your life and she always has equally exciting stories to share, many of which I’m excited to hear when I see her soon! πŸ™‚ Lindsay is also super quirky and weird; both qualities that I absolutely LOVE about her. Want to have someone support your weird noises? Talk to Lindsay? Want to scream like a raptor and run around the house? Lindsay’s the person to call. But also, if you’re looking for a caring individual who will listen to you vent, Lindsay is also the person to go to. She’s an all-around superstar and someone I will always have and love in my life. Oh goodness, since I am tearing up and since I could write a novel about her, I will end this soon. Lindsay, you are one of the most remarkable people that I have the pleasure of having in my life. To call you my friend would be amazing, but I get to call you a sister, someone who is and will always be there for, and that is so much better to say πŸ™‚ Thank you so very much for being there for me when I needed you most, and for always having someone nice to say. Thank you for all the fun times we’ve had like creating the Jefferson family snowmen in Idaho or swimming with me at the DMCC. You have always been a rock in my life and I cannot explain how much I appreciate that. Thank you for always being willing to learn and grow and thank you for always loving those around you. Thank you for being the one and only Lindsay Mitgang, complete with a crazy brother and absolutely exquisite parents πŸ™‚ Thank you for all the fun Shabbat dinners and thank you for being the best croquet partner anyone could ask for πŸ™‚ You are absolutely gorgeous, an incredible actress and singer, and a superb human being with a smile that makes anyone smile back. I can’t wait to see you and to continue spending the rest of my life with you by my side πŸ™‚ Love you so so much! For all of that, Lindsay, I thank you πŸ™‚
