#2. November 24th, 2012: Aunt Terry

Terry is honestly the coolest. She’s kind of hipster, definitely quirky, and undeniably humble and has such a warm heart and persona. Since March, I’ve been to New York City three times, twice with friends, and she has always graciously offered her place as a home to me. She has helped me through some tough times and has always been a family member that I can talk to honestly and openly without fear of being judged. She’s helped me break some tough ice with my father, and she’s currently being the absolute best momma to Annali (who is the cutest little girl in the world). I am so unbelievably thankful for her support and love and her ability to encourage me to keep going with my dreams. She’s a fantastic photographer and fully supports living a lifestyle that you love and are passionate about, regardless of how much money you’re making. She’s sitting next to me now, scarf around her neck, Freedom Tower smiling at us out the window, and I couldn’t be prouder to call her my Aunt :) She’s someone I can always count on for advice and love and I will always do my best to give her the same love and compassion she has given me since the day I was born. For all of that, Terry, I thank you :)
